Dr. Chris Sharrock PT, DPT, SCS, Cert. DN, CSCS
Owner
Dr. Sharrock is the founder and owner of Resilience Physical Therapy as well as a Winchester native. He starred in multiple sports at George Rogers Clark High School including a heavily decorated football career and 2 state Weightlifting championships. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown College in Exercise Science while playing football. Following Georgetown, he completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Kentucky. During his training he completed clinical rotations at two of the top sports medicine facilities in the country, Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Methodist Sports Medicine. Dr. Sharrock specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine with a special interest in spinal/joint manipulation, dry needling, functional movement assessment, fall prevention, dizziness, joint replacements, concussion management, ACL rehab and prevention, and complex spinal conditions. He has a passion for working with the aging and geriatric population in both the outpatient and home health settings. Dr. Sharrock is the only Board-Certified Sports Specialist in the central Kentucky region. He is also the owner of Sharrock Strength and Rehab LLC and has trained athletes of all ages, abilities, and sports. Dr. Sharrock has published research internationally, serves on the Kentucky NSCA state board, and is the Kentucky representative for the Sports Physical Therapy Section of the APTA. Outside of the clinic he enjoys all things fitness/sports, coaching youth sports, and spending time with his wife, Brittney and children, Raylee and Drayke.
Dr. Blake Jackson PT, DPT
Dr. Blake Jackson, a native of Winchester, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2014 from the University of Kentucky. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Kentucky in 2017. Dr. Jackson has clinical interests in manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, and various knee and shoulder conditions. He has experience working with a wide variety of conditions and individuals including being a sports performance coach for Sharrock Strength and Rehab. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys attending/watching all UK athletics, playing recreational basketball, golfing, and spending time with his family, fiancée, and friends.
